The following script will collect your tax information. This information will be submitted to Easyfile Tax Preparation which will netfile your return to CRA or mail you a copy. In order to Netfile your tax return you must authorize Easyfile to be your personal agent to perform the task of netfiling your tax information to CRA or have your return mailed to you. This is done on the last step when submitting your information. Many of our clients have found this to be the easiest way to file a basic return. Basic returns only. If you have additional income or deductions not listed on our script do not use our service. Returns are processed same day. In starting a return, you have read the following agreement (click here). This agreement will be repeated before you submit your information to Easyfile.
Easyfile will hereinafter be referred to as the Agent. The tax filer by signing below is hereinafter referred to as the Principal, to have entered into this Agreement on the following: 1. Under this Contract, the Agent undertakes to electronically file information entered in this website upon Principle’s instructions to CRA on its own behalf at the expense of the Principle. This is considered to be self-filed by Principle. Payment must be made to Agent before information is sent. 2. Copy of information entered will be summarized on confirmation and submit page, please print this page (Step 6). This forms the agreement of information to be filed. For security purposes, information will not be e-mailed to principle unless principle requests. Requests can be e-mailed to tax@easyfile.ca. 3. Principle declares to CRA that the amounts shown on this website (summarized by e-mail) are correct and complete, and fully discloses his/her income from all sources. 4. Agent will e-mail Principle to confirm return has been received by CRA. 5. The Agent shall be relieved from all liability or money owed to CRA for filing this return; and this responsibility rests only on the Principle for the partially or fully failing to provide any additional information that may have been required to file an accurate return. 6. We ask that you recheck the information in this contract. It is the responsibility of the Principle for omissions or errors in the information provided. Agent and Principle agrees that within 45 minutes from the date of submission, changes may be made without charge. It is important to review this information to verify the information given to Easyfile. Information will be displayed on the last step of online filing. 7. Easyfile will use approved CRA software. 8. Information by .tax file will be sent to CRA within 4 business hours. The script on our website is only an estimate of amount owing or balance owing and is subject to change. If a change occurs (greater then $2.00 owing) the filer will be contacted and explained the reasons for the change. The Principle has the right to cancel agreement if any changes and credit card will be not billed. 9. It is the responsibility of the filer to verify information given to Easyfile Tax Preparation should CRA ask for receipts and/or slips. Keep all information slips and receipts for up to 7 years. 10. No liability for consequential damages. In no event shall Easyfile by liable to the principle for any consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages of any kind arising from using this service, even if Easyfile has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will Easyfile’s liability for any claim exceed the amount paid by the principle. 11. Easyfile Tax Preparation treats all information with the strictest privacy and will only communicate this information to CRA. User agrees to use the proper browser like Internet Explorer 5 (or later) or Netscape Navigator 6, with 128-bit SSL. User agrees to supply a secure and trusted e-mail account. Easyfile will use SSL Technology when collecting personal and financial information.
PLEASE NOTE: When submitting your information to Easyfile Tax Preparation you must authorize Easyfile to act as your personal agent to conduct the task of uploading your .tax file to CRA. We are a private company in downtown Toronto. Your signature is required (typing your name in the appropriate box). All information provided to Easyfile is treated with the strictest privacy and confidentiality. Easyfile has been filing income taxes online for our clients since 2002.
